PADI Rescue Diver Course

You learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, this course covers; Self rescue, Recognizing and managing stress in other divers, Emergency management and equipment, Rescuing panicked divers, Rescuing unresponsive divers. During the course you will complete rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills allowing you to feel confident is any diving situation.
This course also includes a first aid course.

Age: The minimum age is 14 for the PADI Rescue Diver Course.
Medical History: All Divers are required to complete an RSTC Medical Form. If you answer YES to any of the questions on the form, as a precaution you will need to get signed off from a Doctor to say you are fit to dive.
Diving Proficiency: You must have completed the PADI Open Water Course and PADI Advanced Diver Course before attending this course. if you have not dived in 6 months or have not dived with us previously we require you to come in before the course starts to have a chat about your diving confidence.
Your online theory must be completed independently in our digital classroom before you arrive for your course. This can even be completed on your smart phone. We also have computers available in store to complete the online learning if you need. If you have any problems or need help with this, we are always on the end of the phone.
Day 1: The first day is in the local heated pool where you will practice rescue scenarios and techniques that will prepare you for the open water portion of the course.
Day 2: Is in the ocean running through different diver emergency scenarios and practicing your rescue response techniques.
