Come and Play in the Bay of Islands
We are spoilt for choice with the amazing Dive sites on offer around the Bay of Islands and Cavalli Islands. We have 2 of the best wrecks in the country to dive, The HMNZS Canterbury and the Rainbow Warrior, which we dive weekly. There are also beautiful reef systems, abundant with fish life and ready for you to explore.
Dive Trips on Rika Maru
Trips with us are intimate and bespoke. We cater for a maximum of 7 divers on board our Stabicraft boat, Rika Maru. On board we often have a range of levels of divers and plan our diver and sites to suit their needs. Most of our dive sites are in shealtered spots, about a 30minute boat ride away.

Rainbow Warrior WreckAdvanced Divers. Once Greenpeace’s flagship this wreck comes with a lot of history. Sunk as an artificial reef the wreck sits at 26m max depth.
What to expect on a trip
On the day of the dive we meet at Dive Zone Bay of Islands at 8am. We spend about 30mins completing the necessary pre-dive registration & arranging any rental gear requirements that you may have.
From here we have complimentary transport from Dive Zone to the Launch Site. Depending on the site this can take about 25-40mins to the boat ramp and then once on the boat it can take about 15-30mins to the selected dive site through the beautiful Bay of Islands or over to the Cavalli Islands.
Please bring with you Lunch, water, togs & towels and sunscreen and any gear you might want to use.

If you are using your own gear it is subject to our safety checks. We reserve the right to refuse use of any equipment that does not meet our inspection standards in the interest of your safety.
IMPORTANT: Bookings are essential for all trips, & full payment is required to secure your booking. Please note that payments are only refundable if the trip is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
Before diving with us please have a look at our PADI Liability form to understand the risks, as this will need to be completed before joining any of our trips. If you are doing any dive training including Discover Scuba Dives or refreshers, please have a look at our Medical Form, if required you may need to get your doctor to sign you off as fit to dive, before completing the activity.
