AT A GLANCE 🤿
Bubblemaker (ages 8+) is a 1/2 day pool session where kids try real scuba gear and swim underwater to a maximum of 2m. Seal Team (ages 8+) takes it further with fun pool “AquaMissions”: underwater navigation, buoyancy games, mask skills and even underwater photography, to a maximum of 4m. No experience needed, just a love of water. Both take place in the pool, never the ocean. Once they complete the Bubble makers course they can move onto the Seal Team Course.

What to bring 🎒
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE • GET READY
Book your session, then complete the medical and liability forms with your child. Pack togs, a towel, water bottle and a snack. Kids should be comfortable in the water and happy to put their face under. Feeling nervous? That’s totally normal. We will focus on Building Confidence Through Play: Our instructors are experts at making kids feel comfortable. The session is built around underwater games and activities, turning any apprehension into pure excitement and achievement.
Bubble Makers - Pool 🫧
BUBBLEMAKER • FIRST BREATHS UNDERWATER
Duration: Half-day experience (approx. 2 hours)
Location: Shallow pool or confined water (max depth 2m / 6ft)
What’s Included: Scuba safety briefing, full child-sized gear fitting, and supervised underwater breathing
Highlights: Underwater games, blowing bubbles, and earning a Bubblemaker emblem
Prerequisites: Age 8+ and comfortable in water (no prior diving experience needed)
The session starts with a kid-friendly briefing where our instructor will show them the scuba gear and explain in simple terms how they’ll be able to breathe underwater like a fish. Next, we’ll help them into their specially fitted gear and get them comfortable in the shallow end of the pool.
There’s absolutely no pressure; we go at the child's pace. When they are ready, they will take their first magical breath underwater while being securely held by their instructor. They will practice blowing bubbles and getting used to the amazing sensation. Once they're bubbling away happily, the instructor will guide them on a little swim around the shallow end, play some games, and ensure they have the time of their lives. The session concludes with a huge sense of accomplishment and the presentation of their official Bubblemaker certificate. It’s a wonderful, confidence-boosting experience they will talk about for years to come. Parents are welcome to watch from poolside.
STEP 03 🦭
SEAL TEAM • COMPLETE YOUR AQUAMISSIONS
Join the Seal Team and take on exciting AquaMissions: hover like a fish, find your way with a compass, practise safety skills and snap underwater photos. Aqua Missions are fun ways for children to learn scuba skills just like the adults. Each mission earns recognition, and kids finish with a PADI Seal Team certificate, ready for Junior Open Water when they turn 10.
Duration: Action-packed pool program (single or multi-day options)
Location: Pool-based "AquaMissions"
What’s Included: Master core scuba skills in Phase 1 (buoyancy, clearing masks, sharing air)
Highlights: Special specialty missions in Phase 2 (wreck diving, night diving, search & recovery, and environmental awareness)
Prerequisites: Age 8+ and comfortable swimming (no prior diving experience needed)
GEAR SORTED. HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED.
We provide all the scuba gear, sized just for kids: mask, fins, wetsuit, small cylinder, BCD and regulator. Just bring togs, a towel and a big smile! Want your child to have their own mask and snorkel? Our team can help you find a comfy fit, and enrolled students get 10% off storewide.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Children must be at least 8 years old and comfortable in the water. A parent or guardian must complete the medical and liability forms; if any medical answers are “yes”, a doctor’s sign-off is needed before diving. A parent or guardian should stay on site during the session. Ask us about birthday parties and group bookings too!
